I Finis!!!!
I've finished d course.
It felt, surreal.
It's like, it was just yesterday I was preparing for class and today, I've gotten my cert.
Weird.
Anyway.
The course was, how should I put it, interesting. There were 10 guys n 8 gals. Me being d flirt that I am, outrageously flirted with them gals. It even got into the stage where some of the guys called me bapak ayam. I'm hurt. It's not my fault you insensitive brutes don't know how to socialize with girls. Zzzz.... I even took on d role of mediator, helping my friends resolving their love life.(yeah right, I don't even have one, how can I help others?). Amazingly, whenever I intervened, I left smiles and gratitude behind. Heh. Notice d nose growing long. Not lying no, no. Just Pride getting in the way.
What did I miss?
Me being me, I was d shining light in d class of course. And for a change, d lecturers liked that. They had me doing translation for d benefit of d rest of d class n let me sleep in class whenever I want. Fun, no??? Made me feel appreciated. Heh. One lecturer even went as far as making me his unofficial representative in d class. Basically, I was d one dat have to report to him bout progress. Lalala..
What else??
We went to visit 2 hotels. 1 in Perlis n another in Kedah. The P.P. hotel in perlis was quite good d service when we visited. D managers were friendly and helpful, eventho the visit was quite.... Spontaneous.. We visited d diff type of rooms, examined d fire escape and also had a jolly good time.
D 2nd visit??? not so fun. The H.V. hotel in Alor Star Kedah was big and looked luxurious i give u that. However, the higher ups... Not quite so. The H.R. manager was quite nice, helpful and even cheerful. Not so for the F&B and housekeeping Supervisors.. Both turned a blind eye to us. Damn.... What?? Just because we were certificate students doesn't mean you can ignore us, HELLOOOO!!!!!!!!!!! We're people too, and we also have a right to comment. The service at d cafe was god awful slow.... I raised my hand, and then waved but to no avail... Only after my friend made d sound like mice did the waiter come... Makes you think... Are you in a hotel or a sidewalk restaurant???? Weird... Even the food in the kitchen doesn't seem hygienic.. It was exposed. God... I certainly wouldn't wanna eat at any banquet in that hotel.
We also had 3 cases of theft.. The suspected culprit disappeared d next day when we said d night before that we're considering having some 'bomoh' just put a spell on d culprit. Stupid.. Just stay and we might not know who you were.. Run??? and you've got guilt written all over....
Anyway, I blew my top off once.. And that was for finding that sum1 stole my Filet O Fish...
Needless to say, a locker got bashed in and a chair suddenly flew accross a field... Quite magical that night... I wonder what d hell happened.. To top it off, a guy broke a girl's heart that night and what happens??? Me as d 'bapak ayam' off to rectify the situation...
Zzzz.... Weird.... Never thought of myself as conducting interrogations.... And there I was, asking 1 questions after another toward that guy.... And since I just bashed in a locker with my bare hands, d guys were quite skittish around me.... I wonder why.... Regardless.. I interrogated that guy with d others forming a circle around.... Guess what... He only wanted to make her his spare.. He already has 1 back home.... Zzzz.... After summore q's and more xplanations, I called d girl and managed to stop her from going back home that night... As her aunt was d staff in charge of d program, I'd say I have quite a reason for not wanting her to go back.... It'll raise a ruckus...
Anyway, d graduation was held at ILP Kangar itself despite attempts by MAHTEC to hold it in KL with students from across M'sia.... And what do we get??? An event dat was officiated by someone who kept on stuttering... zzzz.... For this they made us stay??? For this they didn't allow MAHTEC to hold d event in KL??
You bet I'm pissed.... Lucky d cert was beautiful.... I'll post a pic of it...
